OPPO Find N3 Flip’s global launch seems close as the company has officially announced several of the folding phone’s features. It’s been more than a month since the flip phone debuted in China and so we know pretty much all of its specifications. However, this announcement sheds light on what the company believes its prospective buyers should know.
OPPO Find N3 Flip design
Find N3 Flip walks in the footprints of its predecessor when it comes to design.
- Colours: You can pick it in Cream Gold and Sleek Black variants.
- Hinge: The Flexion Hinge design has been improved. OPPO has used aircraft-grade steel for durability and an increase in drop resistance by 25% compared to the Find N2 Flip.
- Dimensions: The device is 85.54mm tall, 7.79mm slim and 198 grams heavy.

Besides a better hinge, OPPO highlights the following features of the flipping phone:
- Alert Slider: Again a first for a folding phone, the Find N3 Flip has an alert switch that lets you toggle between three modes—Silent, Vibrate and Ring. This is borrowed from OnePlus but what’s important is that you get to mute your phone without opening the Find N3 Flip.
- Camera: Find N3 Flip comes with a 50MP Sony IMX890 (1/1.56-inch) main sensor, a 32MP IMX709 telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom, and a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultrawide sensor with 114-degree field of view and macro shooting capability within a 4cm radius. A triple camera setup is the first time for a flip-form folding phone.
The front camera is a 32MP Sony IMX709 RGBW sensor with 4K30 fps video recording support. It sits in a punch-hole cutout.Also Read
Thanks to Hasselblad partnership, the Find N3 Flip’s camera features include Hasselblad portrait effects, Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution, and filters like XPAN (black and white/retro effect), Emerald, Radiance, and Serenity.
- Cover screen experience: OPPO brags support for 40+ third-party apps on the outer display (3.26-inch, 17:9 aspect ratio, 0.3mm bezel size, Gorilla Glass 7) including Gmail, Google Maps, X, and Uber.
You can also frame selfies, access 3 widgets, animated digital pets, weather updates, and reply to messages in text and emojis with a full-size keyboard.
There are special camera features like FlexForm Interval Shooting, FlexForm Long Exposure, FlexForm Time-Lapse, and Dual Preview. - Main display: It is a 6.8-inch display with 403ppi, 120Hz refresh rate, and TÜV Rheinland certified blue-light filter.
