OPPO’s Find N series has been bringing competitive foldables and this seems to be true for the upcoming Find N3 too. At least from the newly surfaced specifications, the OPPO Find N3 could feature significant spec bumps in key areas like display, battery, processor and cameras.
OPPO Find N3 is expected to launch along with the OPPO Watch 4 Pro before this month ends. Let’s check out everything new we know about the upcoming OPPO folding phone.
OPPO Find N3 specifications (expected)
We have come across OPPO Find N3 specs thanks to tipster DigitalChatStation (via ITHome). The tipped OPPO Find N3 specifications give us a good idea of how big an upgrade this phone’s going to be.
- Display: OPPO Find N3 is said to have a 7.82-inch AMOLED panel as the inner screen. The Find N and N2 both have 7.1-inch inner displays, so that’s going to be quite a bit of a bump if the Find N3 tip turns out to be true. Notably, this tipped display size of the Find N3 leaves behind the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Pixel Fold too, both of whom have their inner displays capped at 7.6 inches.
- The OPPO Find N3 cover screen, could be a 6.31-inch AMOLED screen with a 2484×1116 pixel resolution. Notably, this has a 20:9 aspect ratio, something which you can see on regular smartphones like OnePlus 9 Pro too. Also, both these screens are larger and of higher resolution too.
- Cameras: The rear camera setup on the OPPO Find N3 could include a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultrawide snapper, and a 64MP periscope lens. On the front, the Find N3 could have a 32MP camera. The telephoto camera could be an important improvement as the use of a periscope lens could endow better zoom performance.
- Battery: Although the battery powering the device could be a 4,520 mAh cell, the charging speed could be faster since this one has been spotted (on the 3C certification site) to have a 100W charging facility.
- Processor: The underlying processor could also get updated to the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Being a new chip, it could deliver better performance compared to Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC on the Find N2. Even the software on top could be a newer ColorOS 13.1 skin based on Android 13. Among other things, the phone is tipped to come in up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
That’s pretty much what we know as of now. However, it is plenty enough to evoke excitement among the fans of folding phones, in general. As for OPPO Find N2 users, if these rumours turn out to be true, that could encourage them to upgrade.
