
OPPO is gearing up to launch the Find N5 foldable phone globally on February 20th. It is expected to launch globally as the OnePlus Open 2. The brand has been teasing key details of the upcoming offering since the last few weeks. As the launch date draws closer, more specifications and features of the Find N5 have now been confirmed including its battery capacity and AI integration. Additionally, the device has also emerged in an unboxing video on YouTube.
OPPO Find N5 teasers, unboxing video reveal more details
- The OPPO Find N5 will be debuting as the world’s first foldable phone powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
- It is confirmed to be backed by a 5,600mAh battery unit which is again the first in the foldable phone market. The Find N3 had a 4,805mAh cell under the hood.
- The big battery is also housed inside an ultra-thin chassis as the Find N5 is claimed to be the thinnest foldable globally. However, the exact dimensions are yet to be officially revealed.
- As per OPPO, the upcoming offering can record 1080p video in extreme cold (~15°C) for 4.2 hours. It is said to offer 24 hours of video streaming and 18.47 hours of online meetings.
- The OPPO Find N5 is also confirmed to come integrated with DeepSeek-R1. It will support online search, generating images, and exporting them as local files.
Coming to the unboxing video of the OPPO Find N5, it has been shared by YouTuber GeekCulture. It is seen in a Misty White colour option that is already confirmed by the brand alongside a Cosmic Black shade. The video shows a bundled USB-A to USB-C cable and a Type-G plug. The brand is also including a faux leather case with the foldable phone.
We also get a glimpse when the internal screen is turned on and the folding crease is barely visible. The upcoming offering retains Hasselblad branded cameras housed in a circular island.
OPPO Find N5: what we know so far
Past teasers of the Find N5 have confirmed IPX9 certification, a 50W wireless charging, and a 3D titanium alloy hinge. In China, it will also be available in a Twilight Purple colour. A pre-order listing of the foldable phone on OPPO’s China website reveals three RAM and storage configurations – 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB.
We can expect the OnePlus Open 2 to have the same specifications as the Find N5 albiet a few differences. Their predecessors were announced at CNY 9,999 (~Rs 1,45,395)/Rs 1,39,999.
