OPPO Find X10 Pro Max tipped to feature smaller 1.5K flat display instead of earlier 2K panel

OPPO’s rumoured Find X10 Pro Max could arrive with a significantly different display than previously expected. A new leak suggests the flagship may ditch the earlier rumoured 6.89-inch 2K panel in favour of a smaller 6.78-inch flat 1.5K display with ultra-narrow, symmetrical bezels, hinting at a shift towards a more balanced design instead of chasing higher resolution. The latest leak also reveals changes across the broader Find X10 lineup, including updated chipsets and model positioning.

OPPO Find X10 Pro Max display details

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max will reportedly sport a 6.78-inch flat display with a 1.5K resolution and ultra-narrow, symmetrical bezels achieved using LIPO (Low-Injection Pressure Overmolding) packaging technology. Earlier leaks had pointed to a larger 6.89-inch 2K display, indicating OPPO may now be prioritising slimmer bezels and a more compact form factor over higher pixel density. The difference in resolution may not have a real-world impact for users.

The handset is also tipped to be powered by the upcoming 2nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. OPPO would be catching up with Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series, which launched with the first 2nm mobile chipset. For photography, it could feature a Samsung HPC 200MP primary sensor, accompanied by 200MP ultra-wide and 200MP periscope telephoto cameras, which would make it the first phone with a 200MP triple-camera setup. OPPO’s Find X series is already known to offer top-tier cameras, and the Find X10 Pro Max could level that up even further.

The leak also sheds light on the rest of the Find X10 lineup. The standard OPPO Find X10 is expected to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K display and the 3nm Dimensity 9600 Lite, which is said to be an overclocked version of the existing Dimensity 9500. Meanwhile, the Find X10 Pro could retain a 6.78-inch 1.5K display while using the more powerful Dimensity 9600 Pro.

Interestingly, the tipster also claims OPPO is evaluating another compact 6.59-inch model powered by a different Dimensity 9-series chipset, although its launch has not been finalised.

The leak also raises questions about the future of the Find X10 Ultra, with no mention of the model. If the Ultra has indeed been dropped, the Find X10 Pro Max could become the flagship of the series. Buyers interested in OPPO’s next premium phone may want to wait for official details, as the final lineup and specifications remain subject to change. For current Find X9 series users, the rumoured display change and new chipset might not be a compelling enough reason to upgrade immediately, unless the triple 200MP camera system is a game-changer for your specific needs.
