The OPPO Find X3 launch date has been tipped for sometime in March 2021. Much like the Redmi K40 series, OPPO’s upcoming line of (somewhat) affordable flagship smartphones will also consist of three devices, namely the Find X3 Pro, OPPO Find X3 Lite, and OPPO Find X3 Neo. Now, renowned leaker Evan Blass has provided us a wealth of information about the OPPO Find X3 Pro and Neo models via a Voice post. As expected, the Pro is expected to come with an impressive camera setup, while the Lite will be a rebadged Reno 5. Let’s take a look at what the OPPO Find X3 series has in store for us.

OPPO Find X3 Pro specifications

Blass also reconfirms earlier leaks that told us about the OPPO Find X3 Pro quad-camera array. The tipster says that the primary 50MP Sony sensor will be accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 13MP telephoto lens that offers 2x optical zoom, and a ‘unique’ 3MP macro lens. What makes the macro lens unique is the 25x zoom and the lights circling the lens that allowing it to function as a microscope.

OPPO had previously confirmed that the Find X3 Pro would run Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, along with 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM. Its 6.7-inch, 1440 x 3216-pixels display (525ppi) will support 10-bit colours. The included MEMC chip will allow it to dynamically adjust its refresh rate between 10Hz to 120Hz, something that we’ve seen on the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Much like its predecessor, the OPPO Find X3 Pro aims to offer JNCD values as low as 0.4, making it one of the most colour-accurate panels on the market.

Lastly, the OPPO Find X3 Pro will come with a dual-cell 4,500mAh battery that will support both 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 wired charging and 30W VOOC Air wireless charging. Blass speculates that the OPPO Find X3 Pro will be 8mm thick and weigh about 190 grams. It will be launched in two colour variants initially, namely Black and Blue. A White variant will arrive sometime later.

OPPO Find X3 Lite

As mentioned earlier, Blass says the Lite model will only be a rebranded Reno 5. That means the key OPPO Find X3 Lite specifications will include a 6.5-inch OLED screen clocked at 90Hz, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset, four rear cameras (64MP + 8P + 2MP + 2P), a 32MP selfie camera, and a 4,300mAh battery that charges at 65W.
