OPPO has officially announced a launch event set for next month in China. The brand will unveil a host of devices including smartphones, a tablet, smartwatch, and TWS earphones. These are confirmed to be the Find X8 Ultra, Find X8S, Find X8S+, OPPO Pad 4 Pro, Watch X2 Mini, and Enco Free 4 buds. The phones will join the Find X8 (review) and X8 Pro (review) that released last year. OPPO has also shared the RAM and storage configurations of the upcoming smartphones and the tablet. The colour options of all devices has also been revealed.
OPPO Find X8 Ultra, X8S series and more launch event
OPPO’s upcoming launch event is scheduled to take place on April 10th.
- As per the official listing, the Find X8 Ultra, Find X8S, and the Find X8S+ will be available in 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB RAM and storage configurations.
- The top-end variant in the Ultra model will come with satellite connectivity.
- The Find X8S and X8S+ will also be offered in a 12GB + 512GB variant.
- All three phones are confirmed to come in Moonlight White and Starry Black colours.
- Additionally, the Ultra and Find X8S models will get a Morning Light and Hyacinth Purple shades respectively. The X8S+ will be available in Island Blue and Cherry Blossom Pink hues as well.
- Coming to the OPPO Pad 4 Pro, it is confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite processor compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on its predecessor.
- A teaser image of the device also reveals a new pill-shaped camera module instead of the circular island on the Pad 3 Pro.
- It is confirmed to come in 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB variants. The tablet will be available in Morning Light, Galaxy Silver, and Space Grey shades (via).
- As for the OPPO Watch X2 Mini, it is said to be a small-sized variant of the Watch X2 that debuted last month. The smartwatch features a circular dial with rotating crown and a physical button but lacks bezel. It will be offered in Morning Silver, Starry Black, and Tomorrow Gold colours.
- The OPPO Enco Free 4 will have an in-ear design with a stem and silicone ear tips. It is confirmed to come in a Dynaudio and non-Dynaudio version.
The upcoming OPPO Find X8-series phones are expected to be limited to the China market. The Pad 4 Pro could arrive as a rebranded OnePlus Pad 2 Pro globally. To recall, the Find X8 and OnePlus Pad 2 start at Rs 69,999 and Rs 42,999 respectively in India. The Watch X2 Mini and Enco Free 4’s international launch also remains unclear at the moment.
