The OPPO Find X8 series includes multiple models, including the top-end Find X8 Ultra and the compact OPPO Find X8s offering. It is said that the brand is working on the successors, presumably the Find X9 lineup. These smartphones will once again target the premium to super-premium segment and offer flagship-grade niceties such as top-end MediaTek chipsets and appealing displays. The latest Weibo leak, courtesy of DigitalChatStation sheds some light on what we can expect from the possible Find X9 lineup. Here are the details.
OPPO Find X9 series details (leaked)
- Tipster DigitalChatStation on Weibo, without explicitly mentioning the name of the phones, has tipped some key specifications and the number of models that are in the works.
- The lineup in question is believed to be the OPPO Find X9 series, but we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt.
- DCS says that there are four models under development in the Find X9 lineup, three of which are expected to be powered by the next flagship chipset from MediaTek, the Dimensity 9500.
- These models are said to sport a 6.3-inch, 6.59-inch and 6.78-inch screen size, respectively, with a 1.5K screen resolution and an LTPO ultra-narrow frame technology.
- This means the brand could be planning on continuing the compact offering in the lineup.
- The tipster adds that the phone will have three cameras on the back, with a periscope lens. One of the models could have a 200MP periscope lens.
DCS added that the vanilla model could get a small-straight screen (possibly 6.3-inch), the Plus version will be positioned as a mid-screen model (possibly 6.59-inch), and the Pro and Ultra could get large-screen sizes. The OPPO Find X9 lineup could debut later this year, with the Ultra model possibly launching next year.
The previous leaks from DCS noted the Find X9 series will include the Find X9, Find X9 Plus, Find X9 Pro, and Find X9 Ultra. We might see a new Plus this time around.
