There’s no need to worry about damaging the handset during everyday mishaps. I deliberately dropped the phone several times to check how it fares and while I had my heart in my mouth when the phone dropped at an awkward angle one time, the phone came out unscathed from these drops.
Additionally, its Splash Touch feature makes sure that the phone works completely fine even when there are water droplets on the surface. I gave this a try by spraying some water on the display and was amazed by how flawless and responsive the touchscreen experience was.
While these were the external durability features, there’s protection on the inside too. To make sure that the phone survives drops and falls, OPPO has also given this phone’s parts sponge bionic cushioning. This means there are ample gaps between each component to reduce damage due to sudden collisions. Moreover, all the main internal components are covered with shock-absorbing foam to further safeguard them from impacts. All this is pretty impressive in itself but I was further pleased to see that OPPO has also packed an Anti-Drop Shield Case in the phone’s box.
