OPPO K13 with 7,000mAh battery, Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 launched in India: price, specifications

OPPO K13 5G price in India and specifications have been revealed as the phone officially debuted in the country. The handset arrives as a follow-up to the OPPO K12x from last year. The main USP of the phone is its large 7,000mAh graphite battery, which is claimed to offer five years of durability. The OPPO K13 comes with an IP65 rating, splash touch resistance, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

• OPPO K13 5G price in India starts at Rs 17,999 for the 8GB + 128GB.
• The handset comes in Icy Purple and Prism Black colours.
• The phone can be purchased via Flipkart and the OPPO website in India.
• The sale of the OPPO K13 will start from April 25th at 12 pm IST.
• The company is offering a Rs 1,000 instant discount with HDFC, SBI, or ICICI cards or a Rs 1,000 exchange bonus. There is also 6-months no-cost EMI.

OPPO K13 5G specifications, features

• Display: The OPPO K13 5G sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 1,200 nits peak brightness, 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage, hardware-level low-blue light eye-care, 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution and 92.2 percent screen to body ratio.
• Processor: It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset paired wth Adreno GPU for graphics.
• OS: Android 15-based ColorOS 15 custom skin. It gets AI features like AI Clarity Enhancer, AI Unblur, AI Reflection Remover, AI Writer, AI Summary, and AI Eraser. 
• The company is promising 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security updates.
• Memory: 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
• Cameras: The OPPO phone gets a 50MP OV50D40 primary camera with f/1.85 aperture and a 2MP depth unit. We get a 16MP lens on the front for selfies.
• Battery: The OPPO K13 packs a mammoth 7,000mAh graphite battery with 80W fast charging support. The company is promising a 5-year durability for the battery.

OPPO K13: what’s new?

OPPO K13 will succeed the OPPO K12 that debuted in China and the OPPO K12x that was launched in India. The handset gets the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset in place of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset on the OPPO K12 and MediaTek Dimensity 6300 on the K12x.

The 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens on the OPPO K12 is replaced with a 2MP macro unit on the new OPPO K13. The biggest upgrade this time is the large 7,000mAh battery, which is a significant jump from the 5,500mAh cell on the OPPO K12 and the 5,100mAh battery on the OPPO K12x. The fast charging is now 80W compared to 100W on the OPPO K12 and 45W on the OPPO K12x.
