The brand’s latest offering sports a design similar to the OPPO Reno series and comes with an all-screen fascia. The phone also features a pop-up selfie camera, which comes out of the middle on top whenever you want to capture a selfie. The handset arrived as a successor to the last year’s OPPO K1.

OPPO K3 price in China

The OPPO K3’s base variant with 6GB of RAM has been priced at RMB 1,599 (~Rs 16,000), while the higher-end 8GB RAM model with 128GB storage is being offered for RMB 1,899 (~Rs 19,000). The highest-end model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage will retail for RMB 2,299 (~Rs 23,000). The phone comes in three colour variants – Nebula Purple, Morning White, and Secret Black. The handset will go on sale in China starting today via the brand’s e-store as well as other e-commerce portals. The handset goes on sale starting June 1st.

OPPO K3 specifications

One of the biggest highlights of the OPPO K3 is an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone has non-existent bezels on the sides and top, but the bottom bezel is a tad thick. At the rear, the smartphone has dual vertically-placed cameras with an LED flash sitting below it. The device sports a 6.5-inch AMOLED display, bearing a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels. Software-wise, the handset boots ColorOS 6.0, which is based on Android 9 Pie, and comes with the brand’s Breeno assistant.

For imaging, the OPPO K3 gets a 16-megapixel primary camera shooter at the rear with an aperture of f/1.7, accompanied by a 2-megapixel secondary snapper. For selfies, there’s a 16-megapixel front camera with screen flash feature. Powering the handset is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor with a clock speed of 2.2GHz. The phone comes in two RAM and storage configurations – 6GB RAM + 64GB, 8GB RAM + 128GB, and 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

As for the other specs, the OPPO K3 features DC dimming and stroboscopic eye protection equipped screen. The smartphone offers GameBoost 2.0, Frame Boost, and Touch Boost functions to deliver an immersive gaming experience. In terms of connectivity, you get 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Link Boost, and A-GPS. A 3,765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support completes the list of the specifications.

Additionally, at the same event, OPPO has also launched three new power banks and a car charger. The power banks include the VOOC Flash Charging power bank, the SuperVOOC Super Flash Charging power bank, and a 10,000mAh power bank, which are available starting at around Rs 1,500. The new charger is dubbed the SuperVOOC Super Flash car charger, which will be available for approx. Rs 2,000.
