Apart from the Reno 8 series, OPPO seems to be gearing up for the launch of OPPO Pad Air in India. Tipster Yogesh Brar has confirmed 91mobiles that the tablet is currently being tested in the country alongside Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro smartphones. Both devices, to recall, have already been introduced in China. The Reno 8 lineup comes with some flagship-grade specifications such as an 80W fast charging solution, 50MP cameras, and up to 120Hz refresh rate screens, while the OPPO Pad Air offers a 10.36-inch 2K display, Snapdragon 680 chipset, 7,100mAh battery, and more. OPPO Reno 8 series and OPPO Pad Air India launch

The OPPO Pad Air India launch is said to be alongside the Reno 8 series. The latter is rumoured to make its debut in the country in mid-June. However, Brar claims that the company has planned to launch the devices sometime in late June or early July. Additionally, only the Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro have been spotted testing in the country. There has been no trace of the top-end Reno 8 Pro+. Interestingly, the OPPO Reno 8 Pro is said to carry the specification of OPPO Reno 8 Pro+ and the OPPO Reno 8 Pro (China version) will debut in India as vanilla OPPO Reno 8. These are mere speculations and we would advise you to take them with a grain of salt.

OPPO Pad Air specifications

OPPO Pad Air was recently launched in China with OPPO Pencil and Smart Magnetic keyboard goodies. According to Yogesh, the gear will make its India debut by late June/early July, and the OPPO Pencil and Smart Magnetic keyboard will be made available shortly after the launch. Here’s the first look at the UI images of the Indian model of the OPPO Pad Air.

OPPO Pad Air flaunts a 10.36-inch 2000×1200 pixel resolution 2K display with a 60Hz refresh rate. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, and an Adreno 610 GPU takes care of the graphic needs. OPPO Pad Air packs 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage, expandable up to 512GB.

It has a 5MP snapper on the front for selfies and video calls and an 8MP rear shooter that can capture 1080p Full-HD+ videos. OPPO Pad Air gets its fuel from a 7,100mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. It comes with a Quad-speaker that supports Dolby Atmos.

OPPO Reno 8 series specifications

The OPPO Reno 8-series will launch alongside the OPPO Pad Air in India. The series’ India launch was recently seen in the headlines without the OPPO Reno 8 Pro+. The tipster also stated no signs of OPPO Reno 8 Pro+’s Indian unit. The OPPO Reno 8 Pro is said to come in India with the configuration of the OPPO Reno 8 Pro+ (China variant), and the vanilla OPPO Reno 8 carries the specification of the OPPO Reno 8 Pro.

OPPO Reno 8 series is loaded with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, 50MP triple rear cameras, a 4,500mAh battery with 80W charging, and a 32MP selfie snapper. The vanilla OPPO Reno 8 packs a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. OPPO Reno 8 Pro features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max processor.
