OPPO is launching the Reno 10 smartphone series in China on May 24th. The lineup is expected to feature three smartphones — Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+ 5G. Ahead of the launch, a new leak is out revealing the entire series’ design and what’s inside the box. Besides, OPPO has officially confirmed the chipset of the Reno 10 Pro+ and the display specs of the vanilla model.

The design leak comes from tipster Evan Blass who has shared three images of each Reno 10 smartphone on Twitter. From the back, the OPPO Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+ 5G all look the same, and also come in the same colour options except for one. Continuing the glittery finish, the OPPO Reno 10 series also come with the glowing design that’s visible in all three colour options of black, gold and light blue. The Reno 10 Pro+ 5G , which is the most premium of the three, comes in purple instead of the light blue.

The leaked images also confirm some camera details of the OPPO Reno 10 series. The base Reno 10 model will feature a primary 64MP camera, which was also revealed by OPPO earlier. As for the Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+ 5G , these two will feature the MariSilicon X NPU, an imaging engine built on a 6nm process technology. It supports up to 4K resolution video with HDR AI night video, live previews, RAW domain processing and enhanced RGBW Pro Mode.

The Reno 10 Pro+ 5G is also coming with a periscope camera lens as seen in the leaked images. OPPO has also revealed that the Reno 10 series will feature a telephoto lens. This leak also reveals one of the phones will be powered by the MediaTek 8200 chipset. As for the box components, there’s a charging adapter and cord, SIM ejector tool and a transparent case.

OPPO Reno 10 Pro, 10 Pro+ 5G specifications

The OPPO Reno 10 Pro and 10 Pro+ 5G smartphones are said to come with a similar set of specifications. Here’s a look at what we know about the two phones so far.

Display: The OPPO Reno 10 series is confirmed to be equipped with a ProXDR display. As for the details it could be a 6.74-inch 120Hz OLED display with a 1.5K resolution on both the smartphones.
Cameras: The Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+ 5G are said to sport the same 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens. But one difference would be a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto lens on the Reno 10 Pro and a 64MP periscope lens on the Reno 10 Pro+ 5G.
Processor: The Reno 10 Pro is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset while the Reno 10 Pro+ 5G is confirmed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
Battery: In terms of battery power, the Reno 10 Pro could pack a 4,600mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. As for the Reno 10 Pro+ 5G it will be a slightly bigger 4,700mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.

OPPO Reno 10 5G specifications

The OPPO Reno 10 would be the more affordable offering among the three phones. In terms of specifications, here’s what you can expect from the Reno 10.

Display: The OPPO Reno 10 is expected to come with the same 6.74-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Processor, RAM and storage: Under the hood of the phone, the Reno 10 could be powered by the Snapdragon 778G processor paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
Battery: The smartphone will most likely pack a 4,600mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
Cameras: In addition to the 64MP primary camera, the OPPO Reno 10 is also expected to feature an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto lens.

With only one day to go for the OPPO Reno 10 series debut we should know about the new smartphones very soon. The OPPO Reno 10 series is also tipped to launch in India by June end or early July which is usually the launch timeline for new Reno phones in the country.
