OPPO Reno 14 Pro display, camera, and battery details confirmed ahead of launch

The OPPO Reno 14 series is set to launch in China on May 15th. The lineup will include two models: the vanilla Reno 14 and the Reno 14 Pro. The new phones will succeed the Reno 13 series, which launched in India earlier this January. OPPO keeps a short launch cycle for its Reno series. The company has been hinting at what to expect from the upcoming Reno phones. Now, the latest teaser images reveal the OPPO Reno 14 Pro battery, display and camera features. Here’s what has been revealed.

OPPO Reno 14 Pro key details confirmed

The OPPO Reno 14 Pro teaser video confirms that it will pack a large 6,200mAh battery. This is a decent upgrade over the 5,800mAh cell on the Reno 13 Pro.
The handset will sport a 6.83-inch display. The teaser clip shows a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper and flat edges. This is the same screen size as the predecessor.

The phone will feature a 50MP ultra-wide lens. This is a jump from the 8MP lens on the Reno 13 Pro.
The listing on the OPPO website confirmed the Reno 14 Pro model will be available in four variants: 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB. The phones may be offered in different memory variants depending on the market.

OPPO Reno 14 Pro: what do we know so far?

The OPPO Reno 14 Pro renders show a squircle module on the back panel with triple camera sensors and an LED flash. It has a flat frame with rounded edges. The volume rocker and power button are present on the right edge. The USB Type-C port, speaker vents, and SIM tray are at the bottom. Overall, it looks much like the Reno 13 Pro.

Rumours have it that the Reno 14 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset. This will be an upgrade over the Dimensity 8350 on the Reno 13 Pro.
The OPPO Reno 14 Pro will be available in White, Reef Black, and Alocasia Purple colours.

The OPPO Reno 14 series should be launching in India as well, much like the predecessors, which debuted at a starting price of Rs 37,999/Rs 49,999. Besides the phones, the OPPO Pad SE and Enco Clip will be debuting on the same stage tomorrow.
