OPPO Reno 3 launch date for markets outside China has been confirmed as March 16th. The announcement comes from a video on Oppo’s official Facebook page, which revealed the handset in Aurora Blue colour. As reported by 91mobiles previously, the OPPO Reno 3 global version will be slightly different than the China model, which was launched back in December alongside the Reno 3 Pro that recently made its global debut in India. The only piece of information missing from the puzzle is the OPPO Reno 3 price, which will most likely be revealed at the launch event.
OPPO Reno 3 specifications
The international OPPO Reno 3 will be powered by MediaTek Helio P90 chipset instead of the Dimensity 1000L SoC. The handset will come with quad rear cameras with primary camera downgraded from 64MP to 48MP sensor. The sensor will be accompanied by a 13MP telephoto sensor with f/2.4, 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.4, and 2MP mono sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera of the phone, on the other hand, will be upgraded from 32MP to 44MP. The cameras will be backed by dual-LED flash, 4K video recording, and hybrid zoom.
The design of the handset, meanwhile, will remain the same. The OPPO Reno 3 will flaunt a 6.4-inch waterdrop notch display with Full-HD+ resolution. The volume rocker will be on the left spine, while the power button will on the right. The entire setup would be driven by a 4,025mAh battery, while Android 10-based ColorOS 7 will take care of its software side of things. The handset is tipped come with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The OPPO Reno 3 will measure 160.2 x 73.3 x 8mm and weigh 170 grams and is said to be available in Sky White, Midnight Black, and Aurora Blue colour options.
