“OPPO Reno 3 Pro is expected to come with quad rear cameras, an AMOLED display, boot Android 10 OS and a 44MP primary selfie snapper”
OPPO Reno 3 Pro has been confirmed to launch in India sometime this month. The brand will be bringing the 4G variant to the country with dual-punch hole design, unlike the Chinese model that has just a single cutout at the front. Now, confirming the same, we have obtained the official promotional posters of the OPPO Reno 3 Pro. Although the renders don’t reveal the sensor details, the handset is already known to pack the world’s first 44MP primary snapper. The OPPO Reno 3 Pro could also get a different chipset in India as there is no 5G infrastructure just yet.
OPPO Reno 3 Pro specifications
The OPPO Reno 3 Pro should retain similar specifications as the Chinese model, except for the chipset. This means the handset will sport a 6.5-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. It is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage. The handset will boot Android 10 with ColorOS 7.0 custom skin on top. Connectivity features include 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, and USB Type-C.
In terms of optics, the Reno 3 Pro has a quad-camera setup on the back with a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor, a 13MP telephoto lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP sensor. We’re yet to know the details regarding the secondary selfie snapper but it could be an ultra-wide-angle or depth sensor. A 4,025mAh battery with VOOC 4.0 30W fast-charging support fuels the handset. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security as well. We should know the pricing and availability of the OPPO Reno 3 Pro in the next few days.
