While the teaser video doesn’t reveal the front design of the OPPO Reno 4, official press renders of the phone have surfaced online. These reveal a punch-hole cutout at the front top-left corner, slim bezels on all corners, and a slightly curved display. Since there is no sight of a fingerprint sensor, it could be placed within the screen, meaning it will have an AMOLED panel. Unfortunately, the OPPO Reno 4 doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack and, instead, relies on the USB Type-C port for audio output.
OPPO Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro specifications
Separately, OPPO Reno 4 and Reno 4 specifications also appeared on Weibo, though the authenticity leak can’t be confirmed at the moment. According to leak, the Reno 4 will have a 6.43-inch 2.5D curved glass display with dual-punch-hole cutout, which is confusing since the renders show only a single camera in the front. It is said to pack a 32MP primary sensor and a 2MP snapper on the front. On the other hand, the OPPO Reno 4 Pro will have a slightly larger 6.55-inch screen with 3D curved glass and a single-punch hole for the 32-megapixel snapper. This means the leaked renders and video belong to the high-end model.
Both the phones are said to be powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC and have 5G connectivity. The Reno 4 is tipped to come in two models: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB storage. While the Reno 4 Pro may come with 8GB + 128GB storage and 12GB + 256GB. As for the optics, the Reno 4 Pro will have a 48MP primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP night-scene video camera, and a 13MP telephoto lens. The standard Reno 4 will have a 48MP sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP monochrome lens. Both the models are said to pack a 4,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
