OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G launch date in India has now been revealed through Flipkart. The e-commerce platform has set up a dedicated page for the upcoming 5G smartphone and has revealed that the OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G launch event will take place on January 18th at 12:30 PM. The Flipkart Notify Me page teases some key features of the device, including the AI Highlight Video and 5G connectivity. Notably, while the Realme X7 Pro was expected to be the first phone in India with the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset, it now seems that the OPPO Reno5 Pro will beat it to the punch.

The OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G launch event will be live-streamed through OPPO’s official YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter channels. Additionally, you will be able to watch the event live through Disney+ Hotstar, MX Player, and DailyHunt apps.

OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G features a 6.55-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a hole-punch for the selfie camera. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset paired with 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. OPPO Reno5 Pro also highlights 5G connectivity and 65W fast charging support. The device packs a 4,350mAh battery.
OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G specs also include a quad-camera system that comprises of a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP mono camera. The phone gets a 32MP front-facing camera. The handset measures 159.7×73.2×7.6mm mm and weighs 173 grams. OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G price in China starts at RMB 3,399 (approx Rs 38,300) and we expect the India price to be around the same.
