OPPO Reno 5 series launch is expected to happen before the end of this year, though an exact timeline isn’t clear at the moment. The OPPO Reno 5 moniker was confirmed courtesy of the NBTC certification. Speculations are rife the series may have three models and now two of these variants have been spotted on the Geekbench database with the model numbers OPPO PEGM00 and OPPO PDST00. The listing reveals some key details about the phone, including the chipset, Android version, and RAM.

As far as Geekbench performance is concerned, the OPPO PEGM00 has managed to score 616 in the single-core test and 1,817 in the multi-core test. The listing shows the phone will boot Android 11 OS out of the box and be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC paired with 8GB RAM. On the flip side, the OPPO PDST00 scored 725 in the single-core test and 3,000 in the multi-core test. The handset is said to boot Android 11 OS out of the box and could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC paired with 8GB of RAM.
OPPO Reno 5 series is said to come with 65W fast-charging support even as the company has officially unveiled the 125W charging support. The series is speculated to be offered in Starry Dream, Aurora Blue, Moonlight Black, and Star Wish Red colour options. Speculations are rife that is may also be available in a leather-back variant. The line-up is said to have three models — Reno 5, Reno 5 Plus, and Reno 5 Pro Plus. The high-end model is said to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor.
