Last month, a tipster claimed that OPPO is working on a new smartphone with model number PEPM00. This smartphone was speculated to be the upcoming OPPO Reno6; a successor to the OPPO Reno5 that was launched last year. A few OPPO Reno6 specifications were also tipped recently. Now, we have some more information regarding the smartphone. Today, the OPPO Reno6 has leaked on China’s 3C certification website. The 3C certification of the OPPO Reno6 reveals its connectivity options as well as its charging speed.

OPPO Reno6 spotted on 3C
The 3C certification of the OPPO Reno6 reveals two major features of the smartphone. One is that it has 5G connectivity and second is that it supports 65W fast charging. Unfortunately, that is all the certification reveals.
That being said, a previous leak of a smartphone had suggested that the OPPO Reno6 will have an OLED display with a 90Hz refresh-rate and a punch-hole mounted to the top-left corner of the screen. A popular account on Weibo that goes by Digital Chat Station claims that the Reno6 will have 30W wireless fast charging.
Rumor has it that the Reno6 will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device will most probably come with the Android 11 OS and ColorOS 11.1 customization on top. Currently, there is no information regarding the camera hardware and battery capacity of the Reno6. However, going by the previous iterations in the Reno lineup, expect the Reno6 to have a competitive camera and a large battery pack.
OPPO Reno6 Pro under development
Rumors also suggest that OPPO is working on another smartphone with PENM00 model number. This device is expected to be the OPPO Reno6 Pro. And it only makes sense because OPPO usually launches at least two versions in a new Reno lineup, the standard version and the Pro version. The Reno6 Pro is said to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. Currently, there is no information regarding rest of the specifications of the smartphone.
