OPPO Reno 7Z has been launched in Thailand officially as the latest Reno 7 series phone and the successor to the Reno 6Z. The handset has a familiar design on the front, with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter, a rectangular layout on the back to house triple camera sensors, and, thanks to the AMOLED panel, it has an in-display fingerprint sensor, along with a boxy design. The OPPO Reno 7Z 5G is priced at Thai Bhat 12,990 (around Rs 30,300) for the single 8GB/128GB model and comes in Cosmic Black and Rainbow Spectrum colour options. The phone is available in Thailand.

The OPPO Reno 7Z sports a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. It also features a punch-hole cutout in the top-left corner to house the 16MP snapper for selfies and video chats. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset that enables 5G network connectivity and Adreno 619 GPU for graphics. It packs 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage that is further expandable via a microSD card.
The phone runs on Android 12-based ColorOS 12 custom skin out of the box. In comparison, the Reno 7 comes with Android 11 OS in India. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. It is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and a 3.5mm headphone. The phone measures 159.85 x 73.17 x 7.49mm and weighs 173 grams.
The OPPO Reno 7Z has triple cameras on the back, comprising of a 64MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 6P lens, open-loop motor and LED flash, a 2MP monochrome sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture.
OPPO Reno 7Z vs 6Z: what are the key differences?
Among the major upgrades the OPPO Reno 7Z brings over the Reno 6Z is the Snapdragon 695 5G SoC as it replaces the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset. The battery capacity and charging speed are also improved slightly as the Reno 6Z has a 4,310mAh cell and 30W charging, compared to the 4,500mAh battery and 33W charging. On the other hand, the selfie sensor is downgraded from 32MP to 16MP in the newer model.
