OPPO Reno 8 Pro price tipped, design revealed via renders ahead of India launch

The OPPO Reno 8 Pro has a premium design. It has a centre-positioned punch hole cutout for the selfie snapper and narrow bezels. The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The volume rocker is on the left edge, while the power button is placed on the right spine. Flipping the phone to the back reveals the rear camera module. It has triple camera sensors with an LED flash. We can see the ‘Powered by Marisilicon’ text.

The Reno 8 Pro price in India is said to be Rs 52,990 for the high-end 12GB + 256GB model. This is the first time that a Reno phone has breached the Rs 50,000 mark in India. Besides the 12GB model, the handset will reportedly be available in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB options.

OPPO Reno 8 Pro has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2412×1080 pixels FHD+ resolution, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone boots Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 skin out of the box and packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging.

Moving to optics, the OPPO Reno 8 Pro+ will have a triple rear camera setup, with a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. For selfies, it has a 32MP snapper on the front.

The Reno 8 Pro+ features an in-display fingerprint reader for security. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.
