OPPO Reno 8 series is set to launch in China on May 23rd. The lineup will succeed the Reno 7 series and is expected to launch in India as well, probably in June. The image shows the phone in four colour options and hints at the design of the back panel. It has a boxy design similar to the latest iPhones and most Android offerings these days. However, which model in the Reno 8 series is unknown at the moment.

OPPO Reno 8 render

The Reno 8 series will come in four colour options, including Black, Blue, Green, and Gold. However, the marketing names of these might be different. There’s a rectangular module on the back panel that houses triple camera sensors and an LED flash. The volume rocker is on the left edge. It has flat sides and slightly curved edges on all sides. The front side of the phone is under wraps but we believe it could come with a punch-hole cutout. That’s pretty much about the design.

As for the specifications, the Reno 8 is said to sport a 6.55-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. It could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity chipset, which will be aided with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

Moving to optics, the OPPO Reno 8 series will have triple cameras on the back, with a 50MP primary Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP third sensor. It is said to get a 32MP snapper on the front for video chats and selfies and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

On the other hand, the OPPO Reno 8 SE specifications have been exclusively shared by 91mobiles. It is said to sport a 6.43-inch FHD+ 90Hz refresh rate. It is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset paired with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage that is further expandable. It is likely to boot Android 12 based on ColorOS custom skin out of the box and packs a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
