OPPO Reno 8T 5G India launch date

The OPPO Reno 8T 5G is confirmed to be launched in India on February 3rd. Meanwhile, it is expected to be unveiled globally in the Philippines on February 8th.

The OPPO Reno 8T 5G is displayed in the teaser video in its premium-looking Sunrise Gold colour. However, the smartphone will also be expected to come in a Dynamic Black colour option. Its rear panel revealed that it would have a sport dual-circular camera cutout with an LED flash module. Earlier reports have claimed that the smartphone will come with a punch-hole camera, volume rockers and a SIM tray on the left edge while the power button rests on the right.

The OPPO Reno 8T is expected to be launched in two variants – 4G and 5G. A tipster recently hinted that the smartphone will be priced at around Rs 28,000 in India. However, it is unclear whether it is the price of the 5G variant or the 4G variant. Meanwhile, earlier, another report said that the OPPO Reno 8T 5G would likely be priced at Rs 32,000 in India.

OPPO Reno 8T 5G specifications (expected)

The OPPO Reno 8T may feature a 6.67-inch OLED 10-bit display with support of a 120Hz refresh rate. It will pack a triple rear camera setup that would consist of a 108MP primary camera along with dual 2MP sensors. The smartphone will house a 32MP selfie camera in the front.

It is said that the 4G variant of the OPPO Reno 8T will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, while the 5G variant will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset. They are likely to be paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphones will likely have a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support and will run on Android 13 out of the box.
