OPPO Reno Ace 2 alleged live image has surfaced on Weibo, courtesy of Digital Chat Station. On first look, it is evident the design of the phone is similar to the OnePlus 7T in Blue colour with a curved glass body, a circular ring that has quad cameras and OPPO branding. To recall, the OPPO Reno Ace smartphone was originally launched back in October 2019 with flagship internals including a 65W fast-charging, Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, and 90Hz refresh rate.
The OPPO Reno 2 Ace has a volume rocker on the left side. While the USB Type-C port and speaker grills are present at the bottom. The flagship could come with Snapdragon 865 SoC, 5G connectivity and fast-charging support. Unfortunately, the front design of the phone is hidden for now, but if it’s indeed the OPPO Reno Ace 2, we should know more information soon.
OPPO Reno Ace specifications
The OPPO Reno Ace sports a 6.5-inch full HD+ OLED display with a waterdrop notch and 90Hz refresh rate and 135Hz sampling rate. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC with Adreno 640 GPU, up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The phone boots Android 10 OS with ColorOS 7.0 custom skin on top.
In terms of optics, the OPPO Reno Ace features a quad-camera module at the back with 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor, a 13MP telephoto lens, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 16MP snapper for selfies and video chats. A 4,000mAh battery with 65W Super VOOC fast-charging tech fuels the phone. It comes with Dolby Audio, UFS 3.0 storage and liquid cooling tech for heat dissipation.
