“OPPO Reno Ace is expected to come with Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, run on Android 9.0 Pie and a 48MP primary rear camera sensor”
The OPPO Reno Ace is scheduled to launch on October 10th in China, and we’ve recently revealed the design of the phone in exclusive renders. It is already confirmed to be the first phone with 50W fast-charging. Now, while we wait for the launch, OPPO Reno Ace live images have surfaced online, showing off the vertically-arranged quad-camera setup, ultra-slim bezels with a waterdrop to accommodate the selfie snapper, and gradient finish. The OPPO Reno Ace will also have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The power button is present on the right spine, while the volume rockers are placed on the left.
Furthermore, the OPPO Reno Ace back panel seems to have glass design with curved edges. However, the leaked live images don’t reveal any hardware specifications. But the recent TENAA certification revealed many of the key OPPO Reno Ace specifications that it might flaunt, such as a 6.5-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 1,080 x 2,400 pixels resolution and ship with 2.96GHz octa-core Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset. It would pack 12GB RAM and 256GB in-built storage. It is likely to run on Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS custom skin overlaid on top.
In terms of camera, OPPO Reno Ace could get a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel secondary, an 8-megapixel third, and a 2-megapixel fourth sensor at the back. There is a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats. A beefy 4,000mAh battery with 50W fast-charging is expected to fuel the phone. It is expected to measure 161.0×75.7×8.7mm and weigh 200 grams. For OPPO Reno Ace price and release details, we will have to wait for the official launch tomorrow.
