“OPPO Reno comes with elevating selfie camera, Snapdragon 710 SoC, 6.4-inch AMOLED display and runs Android 9.0 Pie”
OPPO’s Reno series was unveiled in China last month in three variants – OPPO Reno, Reno 10x Zoom Edition, and Reno 10x Zoom Edition 5G. The company scheduled to launch the series in India on May 28th. Now, ahead of the official event, the standard Reno is listed on Flipkart’s ‘Home of Flagships’ page, suggesting it could be exclusive to e-commerce giant online. However, the pricing or availability details aren’t revealed at the moment. Since the teaser image just shows the regular Reno with the dual rear camera setup, the top-end Reno 10x Zoom Edition might not be launched in the country immediately. It’s quite likely that the Reno’s 5G variant won’t be available in the Indian market.
To recall, the OPPO Reno sports a 6.4-inch OLED full-HD+ display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 6 layer. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor with Adreno 616 GPU. The handset comes in three RAM and storage configurations – 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. It boots Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6.0.
In terms of optics, the phone rocks dual rear cameras consisting of a 48MP primary Sony IMX586 sensor with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, PDAF, and a 5MP secondary shooter with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is a 16MP snapper with 79.3-degree wide angle lens for selfies and videos. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric security, Hi-Res audio, and Dolby ATMOS sound. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS, NFC, and USB type-C. A 3,765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support fuels the phone.
We’ll be there at the launch bringing you all the updates on the OPPO Reno price in India, specifications, and availability, so keep watching the space.
