OPPO patent reveals designs of two new truly wireless earbuds

“Both the OPPO wireless earbuds are expected to come with noise cancellation and a microphone to take calls”

OPPO has filed a patent for two new truly wireless earbuds. While one has a stem design similar to the AirPods Pro with silicone ear tips, the other has a small pod-shaped design much like the Samsung Galaxy Buds. The patent was filed way back in April 2019 and was authorized on February 18th 2020. The patent, discovered by 91mobiles, shows off the two TWS earbuds from all angles. The stem type wireless earbuds will likely succeed the OPPO Enco Free TWS earbuds, which are expected to launch in India soon.

There’s also a microphone near the buds which will likely detect external sound and block to offer better noise cancellation, aided by silicone ear-tips. Interestingly, the inside of the earbuds show three holes that could be for charging purposes and a proximity sensor for wear detection.
