Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the second in the Black Panther series and the 30th MCU film to come out, is finally making its way to OTT platforms in India. Obviously coming to Disney Plus Hotstar, the home of all Marvel movies, Black Panther will start streaming from February 1. In case you are someone who missed out watching the aftermath of Wakanda reeling from T’Challa’s death, this is a good time to fire up your smart TV, switch the lights off, and make yourself a nice little home theatre for one of the biggest movies of 2022.

Farzi is one of the biggest Hindi Web series releases of 2023, as it marks the streaming debut of Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor on Amazon Prime Video. Releasing on February 10, after several delays, Farzi has quite the star cast. You have Kay Kay Menon, Vijay Sethupathi, Raashi Khanna, Kubbra Sait, Amol Palekar, Regina Cassandra, Zakir Hussain, and Bhuvan Arora as the supporting actors, while famed director duo Raj & DK is in charge of the show. And, Kapoor is back doing what he is good at – anti-hero roles in crime drama films. This thriller is all about an unconventional police officer who makes it his mission to protect his nation at all costs.

Your Place or Mine

Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher in a Netflix original rom-com? Hell, yes! And this time, the 90s kids are in for a treat as their teenage favourites come together on the screen to play the roles of two best friends who want different things in life. True Spirit

Her journey of more than 35,000km in a span of 7 months will teach you lessons of courage, passion, failure, and ultimate achievement in classic Netflix style. We, particularly, can’t wait to watch this much-awaited Netflix series that has been in the works for years now.

We Have a Ghost

It is gonna get freaky as David Harbour returns to Netflix with We Have a Ghost. Coming to Netflix in late February, this horror flick brings Jennifer Coolidge and Anthony Mackie as the cast. According to Netflix, the plot summary of the film is “After finding a ghost with a murky past haunting their new house, a family becomes internet sensations — and the targets of a shadowy government agency.” We couldn’t be any more excited, much like all other horror fans!

    You: Season 4

    Acclaimed psychological thriller series, You, is coming back for another season on Netflix. And, it is coming in February. You is a psychological thriller television series that premiered on Netflix in 2018. The show is based on the novel of the same name by Caroline Kepnes and was developed for television by Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti. The series stars Penn Badgley as Joe Goldberg, a bookstore manager who becomes obsessed with a customer named Beck (played by Elizabeth Lail) and will do anything to be with her. Its plot explores themes of love, obsession, and social media and its effects on personal relationships.

      The Night Manager (Hindi)

      The Indian, Hindi adaptation of superhit series The Night Manager is also coming in February 2023. With names like Aditya Roy Kapur, Anil Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Tillotama Shome in the lead cast, expect this to be a banger of a show as the trailer suggests. Originally, The Night Manager is a British television series based on the novel of the same name by John le Carré. With Tom Hiddleston starring as Jonathan Pine, the show is about a former British soldier turned night manager of a luxury hotel, who is recruited by intelligence operative Angela Burr (Olivia Colman) to infiltrate the inner circle of an international arms dealer, Richard Roper (Hugh Laurie). The series is a mix of espionage, crime, and drama.

      The Reluctant Traveller

      Apple TV Plus has been making some solid content in the last few months, and the streaming platform is topping it up with The Reluctant Traveller this February.       This Hindi adaptation of the Spanish series Elite is making its way to Netflix in February, too. Elite is a Spanish teen drama television series that premiered on Netflix in 2018 and has since released multiple seasons. Elite follows the lives of students at an exclusive private high school in Spain, Las Encinas after three working-class students are given scholarships to attend. The show explores themes of class struggle, love, and murder as the students navigate their relationships and the secrets of their privileged peers. Class is expected to follow the same storyline, albeit in an Indian context.
