Panasonic has launched two new variants of the Eluga I2 Android smartphone in India. The new variants come with 2GB and 3GB of RAM, as compared to 1GB of RAM found on the first Eluga I2 model, which was launched in the country last year. Both new editions run Android 5.1 Lollipop with Panasonic’s FitHome user interface, and offer 4G LTE support.
Apart from the difference in RAM capacity, the new Eluga I2 models share similar specifications. The phone sports a 5-inchHD IPS display, and is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor of unknown make. It comes with 16GB of internal memory, further expandable up to 32GB by inserting a microSD card. For imaging, it offers an 8MP autofocus rear snapper and a 5MP selfie shooter, both accompanied by LED flash. The device’s other specs include a 2,000mAh battery, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, micro-USB 2.0, and A-GPS.
The Panasonic Eluga I2 2GB and 3GB RAM variants have been priced at Rs 7,990 and Rs 8,990 respectively. The phones come in three colour choices – Silver, Gold and Grey, and will be available across channels in the country.
