“The Panasonic Eluga Ray 600 comes with Arbo Hub and a multifunctional fingerprint sensor”
Panasonic has been offering pocket-friendly smartphones under its Eluga Ray series for a while now. The last launch from the brand in this series came in the form of Panasonic Eluga Ray 550, which was launched earlier this year. Now, the Japanese handset maker has gone ahead and unveiled the successor of the smartphone – Panasonic Eluga Ray 600 in India. Just like its predecessor, the budget smartphone flaunts an all-metal unibody design, a multi-purpose rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a front-facing LED flash.
The Panasonic Eluga Ray 600 ships with a 5.99-inch BigView display with an HD+ screen resolution. The performance on the handset is being handled by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739WA processor ticking at the core. The chipset is further backed by 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, further expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card. In the imaging department, the smartphone offers a 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera, both with LED flash. The smartphone boots Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box and is powered by a beefy 4,000mAh battery. For security, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, which can also be used to click selfies and open different apps.
Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India said, “We are glad to expand our big view series portfolio with the launch of Eluga Ray 600. Panasonic has always been known for innovation and technology, the new Eluga Ray 600 is meant to provide a powerful experience to our customers seeking high definition display, stylish looks and a battery that lasts over 24hours!
