“The Panasonic P55 Max flaunts stock Android Nougat and a 13MP primary camera with quad-LED flash”
Panasonic has quietly launched a new budget device called P55 Max in the country. The handset boots Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box with a stock interface.
A glance at the spec sheet reveals that the device has a MediaTek MTK6737 SoC at its core, which is a quad-core 1.25GHz unit, mated to 3GB RAM and 16GB onboard expandable storage. The front panel is dominated by 5.5-inch display with screen resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. Images can be shot using the 13MP primary snapper and 5MP selfie camera. The rear camera is accompanied by a quad-LED flash for low light imaging. The highlight of the device though, is the 5,000mAh battery, which also comes with support for quick charging. On the connectivity front, the device comes with a new Zigplay feature, which lets users prioritise connectivity using different profiles for home, work and car, to name a few. Connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, direct Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. All these features are packed in a plastic body with a brushed metal finish.
