Panasonic Toughbook S1 rugged tablet has been launched in India. It originally launched in the US back in May and is mainly aimed at logistics, transportation, field service and other sectors. The features an integrated barcode reader and two battery size options, and is designed to work access extreme conditions. it runs on the Android 10 Enterprise version that is said to enhance application safety, reliability and management for business. Some key specifications of the Panasonic Toughbook S1 include a 7-inch WXGA IPS display, quite-dated Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, and IP6x, IPx5, and IPx7 ratings for dust- and water resistance.

The Panasonic Toughbook S1 sports a 7-inch WXGA (800×1,200 pixels) IPS LCD display that is claimed to be viewable outdoors and works with gloves or a passive pen. It is drop-resistant up to 1.5 meters and can operate in temperatures ranging from -20 to 50 degrees Celsius.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, USB Type-C port, a microSD/ SDXC card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and one port replicator. The tablet runs Android 10 with Android Enterprise and is equipped with two batteries: a standard 3,200mAh and an extended 5,580mAh. It measures 194x131x22.9mm without additional accessories and weighs 434 grams with the standard battery and 514 grams with the extended battery.
