While there is no official confirmation regarding the name or any of its features, a new report suggests that the upcoming foldable is expected to come with an improved split-screen mode. - According to a report by Android Authority, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold might include an improved split-screen mode to enhance multitasking.
- The report notes that alternations made in the Android 14 QPR2 code will let the users put apps left and right when the foldable is in portrait mode.
- This upgrade will notably improve upon the Pixel Fold, whose split-screen mode currently only supports top-bottom configuration in portrait mode.

- Although the patches do not explicitly state this feature is for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, rumours strongly suggest we can see this upgrade to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
- Furthermore, the report also suggests that the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will feature a new inner display resolution of 2,076×2,152.
