Google Pixel 9a early reviews reveal design, specs, AnTuTu score, more; online listings hint at global price

Google is expected to launch its entry-level Pixel 9a smartphone in March and a few days before, the phone’s early reviews are out. These give a closer look at the phone’s real-world performance and looks while disclosing its specifications and benchmark scores. Meanwhile, the phone’s purported global pricing has also leaked via e-commerce listings. Find them below.

Pixel 9a early review videos: specs, features, design

YouTube channels Sahil Karoul and The Mobile Central have posted early review videos of Google Pixel 9a. They both reveal the following details:

Specifications: Pixel 9a runs on Android 15 and comes with a 7-year Android update promise. It features a 6.3-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, 2424×1080 resolution, and 2,700 nits peak brightness. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, it is powered by the Tensor G4 chipset. The phone packs a 5,100mAh battery with support for 33W wired and 7.5W wireless charging. The camera setup includes a 48MP main sensor, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 13MP front camera. It supports 4K 60fps video recording from the rear-side camera and offers stereo speakers.
Benchmark, gaming: It scores 1,049,844 on AnTuTu. Geekbench scores are 1,530 in the single-core test and 3,344 in the multi-core test. In PUBG Mobile, the phone supports Ultra HDR or Smooth + Extreme settings.
Design: The Pixel 9a weighs 187 grams and has a minimal camera bump. It has thick bezels, flat edges, and a plastic back.

Pixel 9a global price, availability details (leaked)

A German e-commerce website listing suggests the Pixel 9a could start at €549 (around Rs 52,000) for the 128GB variant.
It could come in Gray, Rose, Black, and Violet shades.
Its shipping could start in 10 to 14 days, corroborating the impending launch window.
Meanwhile, a UAE e-commerce listing shows the phone’s black model with 8+128GB memory at AED 2,350 (about Rs 56,000).
These figures are higher than the Pixel 8a‘s starting price of Rs 52,999 for the 128GB model. However, take them with a pinch of salt until the phone’s official.
