POCO C3 price and specifications were revealed earlier this month as the phone went official in India. It is POCO’s cheapest phone yet and shares a lot of the same features as the Redmi 9. The POCO C3 price falls under Rs 10,000 much like the Redmi 9. Both the phones also come with specs such as the MediaTek Helio G35, 6.53-inch display, and 5,000mAh battery. Starting with the similarities, the POCO C3 and Redmi 9 look identical in terms of design. They both ship with a waterdrop notch display and square-shaped camera module at the back. The phones bear a 6.53-inch screen with HD+ resolution and a 5MP selfie camera. The phones are powered by the 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio G35 SoC coupled with HyperEngine technology and IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The handsets are driven by a 5,000mAh battery and support standard 10W charging support. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security on both smartphones. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, a 3.5mm audio jack, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and micro-USB port for charging and data sync.

There are a few things that set the POCO C3 and Redmi 9 apart. Chief among them are the colour options: the POCO phone is available in Arctic Blue, Lime Green, and Matte Black colour with a dual-tone finish, while the Redmi 9 comes in Carbon Black, Sporty Orange, and Sky Blue.

The POCO C3 has triple rear cameras that include a 13MP primary sensor, 2MP wide-angle lens, and 2MP depth sensor and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage options. Software-wise, the handset boots ad-less Android 10-based MIUI 12 with POCO Launcher atop. The Redmi 9, in contrast, is equipped with dual rear cameras minus the ultra-wide sensor and 4GB RAM + 64GB/ 128GB storage options. The phone boots MIUI 11 atop Android 10 out of the box to take care of the software side of things.

POCO C3 vs Redmi 9: Price in India

POCO C3 price in India is set at Rs 7,499 for the base 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at Rs 8,999. The handset comes in Arctic Blue, Lime Green, and Matte Black colour options and will be available for sale in the country from October 16th via Flipkart.

The Redmi 9, on the other hand, comes with a starting price of Rs 8,999 for the base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, while the 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 9,999. The handset is available for sale in the country in Carbon Black, Sporty Orange, and Sky Blue colour options.
