POCO F1 price in India temporarily slashed by Rs 2,000 for 6GB + 128GB variant

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO has announced a temporary price cut for the POCO F1 smartphone in India. The handset’s 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant will be available at Rs 20,999 instead of Rs 22,999 from March 25th to March 28th. “The price drop has resulted from the overwhelmingly positive response that POCO F1 has received in merely six months upon its launch in August 2018,” the company said in the press release.


The discounted POCO F1 price in India will be available across Flipkart and Mi.com. Interested buyers will also be able to buy the other variants of POCO F1: 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 256GB at Rs 19,999 and Rs 27,999 respectively with an additional cashback of up to Rs 3,000.

In related news, the POCO F1 recently received ‘Game Turbo’ mode, which is said to bring a whole new level of experience with dedicated gaming mode. The mode reportedly enables smart allocation of CPU and GPU resources to enhance the phone’s performance during resource-intensive gaming sessions.

The POCO F1 continues to be the only handset under Rs 20,000 powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC. The smartphone packs a 6.18-inch display with Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,246p) resolution and Android Oreo-based MIUI 10 software. For photography, the device boasts of a dual-rear camera setup that comprises of 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. The front camera gets a 20-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. It has a 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support.
