POCO F7 tipped to launch around May end: here’s what to expect

POCO F7 Pro and F7 Ultra were launched in global markets last month. While the Ultra is a new model in the series, the Pro variant succeeds the POCO F6 Pro from last year. Besides these, there’s also the vanilla POCO F7 that is said to be in the works. Now, the launch timeline of the POCO F7 has been tipped. Here are the details.

Tipster Yogesh Brar on X says the POCO F7 launch could happen around the end of May.
To recall, the POCO F6 was also launched in May last year.
While he hasn’t divulged into specifications, the POCO F7 is said to be a rebrand of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which is set to launch in China later today, i.e. April 24th.

POCO F7: what do we know so far?

The possible POCO F7 has recently bagged the BIS certification with the model number 25053PC47I. Considering it is indeed a rebrand of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, here’s what we can expect in terms of specs.

Display: The POCO F7 is expected to ship with a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It could be a punch-hole style design on the front for the selfie shooter.
Processor: It could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset paired with Adreno GPU.
Cameras: The handset may get a 50MP OIS primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It could have a 20MP lens on the front for selfies.
Battery: The phone is likely to get a large 7,550mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. This is a significant jump over the 5,000mAh battery on the POCO F6.
Others: Android 15 OS, IP68/IP69 rating, and in-display fingerprint sensor.

While the price details aren’t leaked yet, we can speculate it could be in a similar range to the POCO F6. To recall, the POCO F6 launched in India at Rs 29,999.
