Last week, POCO revealed that the POCO M3 Pro 5G launch date is May 19th. The upcoming smartphone is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10 5G that made its debut in March. For the last few days, the brand has been releasing teasers for the smartphone, revealing that the POCO M3 Pro 5G will come with a 6.5-inch display featuring a 90Hz refresh rate, and MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. Today, we get to know more about the POCO M3 Pro 5G specifications, including its battery capacity, charging speed, and cameras. Let us have a look.
POCO M3 Pro 5G specifications officially revealed
In a new post on Twitter, POCO has revealed that the POCO M3 Pro 5G will come with a 5,000mAh battery and it will support 18W fast charging. This is the same battery capacity and charging speed as the Redmi Note 10 5G. So, the previous reports suggesting that the POCO M3 Pro 5G could be a rebranded version of Redmi Note 10 5G could be true.
In another Twitter post, POCO has revealed that the POCO M3 Pro 5G will come with a triple-camera setup at the rear with a 48MP primary camera and AI-assisted features. The brand is yet to reveal the details regarding the other two cameras. That being said, if the POCO M3 Pro 5G is indeed a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10 5G, you can expect it to feature a 2MP macro camera and 2MP depth camera.
Recently, renders of the POCO M3 Pro 5G were leaked online, revealing the design of the smartphone. It shows that the device will have a display with a center punch-hole and that it will be available in green, black, and yellow color variants. The POCO M3 Pro 5G launch will start at 08:00 PM GMT on May 19th (01:30 AM IST on May 20th in India). So far, the company has not revealed if it plans to launch the POCO M3 Pro 5G in the Indian market. Hopefully, we will know about it as the phone’s global launch nears.
