POCO M7 5G has launched in India as a cheaper alternative to the POCO M7 Pro from last year. It arrives as a successor to the POCO M6 and ships with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, 5G network support, 2 years of OS updates and more. Here are the price, specifications and availability details.

POCO M7 5G price in India, sale

POCO M7 price in India starts at Rs 9,999 for the base model. This is a special price for the first day of sale. Later, it will be available for Rs 10,499 and Rs 11,499.
The handset comes in Satin Black, Mint Green, and Ocean Blue colour options.
The phone will be on sale via Flipkart from March 7th at 12 PM IST.

Display: The POCO M7 5G sports a 6.88-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1,640 X 720 pixels resolution, 600nits high-brightness mode, and TUV Rhineland certified.
Processor: The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset with Adreno GPU.
Memory: The handset arrives in two configurations: 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB storage, which is further expandable via a microSD card. There is up to 8GB virtual RAM support.
OS: The phone runs on Android 14-based HyperOS custom skin. The company is promising 2 years of Android updates and 4 years of security patches.
Cameras: The POCO M7 packs a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary camera and a 2MP secondary lens. We get an 8MP lens on the front for selfies.
Battery: We get a 5,160mAh battery with 18W fast charging. However, the company is bundling a 33W adapter in the box.

What’s new on the POCO M7?

The POCO M7 comes as a successor to the POCO M6 and brings some notable changes. Firstly, the design has been revamped. We get a large circular camera module on the back in place of a rectangular layout on the POCO M6.

The handset gets a slightly larger 6.88-inch display compared to the 6.74-inch screen on the POCO M6. The refresh rate is bumped to 120Hz from 90Hz. The MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ is replaced with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. The base internal storage is now 128GB compared to 64GB. The 5MP front camera is placed with an 8MP lens on the POCO M7 5G.
