Over a year after the launch of the POCO F1, Xiaomi’s former sub-brand POCO has finally launched the much-awaited POCO X2 smartphone in India. As we’ve been telling you all this while, the handset is a rebranded version of the Chinese Redmi K30 4G smartphone. The POCO X2 rocks a 120Hz display with dual punch-hole for selfie cameras and gaming-centric Snapdragon 730G chipset under the hood. The phone also touts 64MP quad rear cameras, a beefy 4,500mAh battery with 27W fast charging, and POCO launcher. The Redmi K30 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security and Android 10-based MIUI 11 taking care of its software side of things.

POCO X2 price in India and availability
The POCO X2 price in India starts at Rs 15,999 for the base 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The POCO X2 6GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage options have been priced at Rs 16,999 and Rs 19,999, respectively. The POCO X2 first sale on Flipkart is on February 11th at 12 noon and the phone will be available in Atlantis Blue, Matrix Purple and Phoenix Red colours. Launch offers include a further Rs 1,000 off for ICICI Bank debit and credit card users.
POCO X2 specifications
POCO X2 specifications include a 6.67-inch LCD display with Full-HD+ resolution and elongated punch-hole at the top right corner. The phone gets a Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the back and front. The display also sports a 120Hz refresh rate, making POCO X2 only the second smartphone in India after ASUS ROG Phone 2 to offer the impressive refresh rate. Under the hood, the X2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset paired with Adreno 618 GPU and up to 8GB of RAM. The phone comes equipped with 64GB/ 128GB storage, which is further expandable up to 512GB using a microSD card.
The POCO X2 quad rear camera setup includes a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor, followed by an 8MP super wide-angle lens, 2MP macro and 2MP depth. The dual front camera setup includes 20MP main sensor and 2MP secondary depth sensor by artificial intelligence (AI) features.
Software-wise, the handset boots MIUI 11 atop Android 10 out of the box. The POCO X2 houses a 4,500mAh battery with 27W fast charging support. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security and connectivity options such as Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, Dual-frequency, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C, and IR blaster. The smartphone also comes with VoWiFi support and P2i splash-proof coating.
