POCO X2 fast-charging teased ahead of the February 4th launch

POCO X2 is confirmed to launch in India on February 4th and the brand has already confirmed it would come with 120Hz display and teased 64MP Sony IMX686 primary rear camera. Now, in a new poster image, the standalone brand has teased its fast-charging capabilities, but hasn’t revealed the power output or the battery capacity. The teaser image also reveals the 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port of the smartphone. The POCO X2 seems to have a centre-positioned vertically arranged camera module and curved edges. It is likely to be a rebranded Redmi K30 4G that was launched in China last month.

POCO X2 was spotted on the Geekbench benchmark platform recently. It managed to score 547 points in the single-core test and 1,767 points in the multi-core test. The handset is tipped to boot Android 10 OS and pack 8GB RAM.

Redmi K30 4G specifications

To recall, the Redmi K30 flaunts a 6.67-inch LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate, Full-HD+ resolution, and two punch-holes for dual selfie cameras. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11 out of the box. It has a 20MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor on the front for selfies and video calling.

The Redmi K30 rocks quad cameras at the back consisting of a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP (2MP in the 4G variant) macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. A 4,500mAh battery with 27W fast-charging fuels the handset. Connectivity features include dual-band WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, and USB Type-C.
