POCO X2 price in India hiked by Rs 1,000 after GST rate increase

POCO X2 price in India has been increased by Rs 1,000 owing to the GST hike from 12 percent to 18 percent that is applicable from April 1st, 2020. Additionally, POCO says that falling rupee against the US dollar and supply chain issues have impacted the business significantly. Apart from POCO, Xiaomi, Samsung, Apple, OPPO, and Vivo have already announced price hikes by up to Rs 2,000 in India. The POCO X2 6GB + 64GB will now cost Rs 16,999, the 6GB + 128GB model sets you back by Rs 17,999 and lastly, the 8GB + 256GB variant will retail for Rs 20,999. POCO X2 specifications

The POCO X2 sports a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with 2,400 X 1,080 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR 10, Gorilla Glass 5 protection and dual punch-holes for dual selfie cameras. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC coupled with Adreno 618 GPU, up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.1 internal storage. The handset boots Android 10 OS with MIUI 11 out of the box.

On the front, there is a 20MP main sensor and 2MP secondary depth sensor by artificial intelligence (AI) features.
