- POCO X3 Pro will feature Corning Gorilla Glass 6 to protect the display
- On the other hand, Realme X7 only has Gorilla Glass 5 to protect its screen
- The POCO X3 Pro India launch is set for March 30th
POCO X3 Pro is being hyped up quite a bit by the brand as it gears up for the phone’s March 30th India launch. The company has managed to keep the POCO X3 Pro specifications largely under wraps, and is slowly teasing them now. Today, POCO posted a new teaser for the phone, revealing the type of glass that it is using to protect the POCO X3 Pro display. The company is making a statement by using this particular glass, as no other manufacturer is providing the same in the category. This includes the Realme X7, which is priced in India pretty competitively at Rs 19,999 but comes with only Gorilla Glass 5.
POCO X3 Pro specifications
The POCO X3 Pro is a mid-range smartphone that will feature Gorilla Glass 6 glass on the front display. POCO India posted the teaser video (above) on its Twitter channel and showcased how the Gorilla Glass 6 is much stronger than competitors. The smartphone itself isn’t showcased in the video, but we’ve already seen the device thanks to leaked images.
As of now, this is the only confirmed detail that we’ve got about the phone. Everything else we know about it is based on leaks and rumours. The leaked renders show that the phone follows the same design language as the POCO X3 that was launched back in September last year.
The phone is expected to be powered by the unannounced Snapdragon 860 chipset, which will be paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It will reportedly get a 120Hz LCD display with FHD+ resolution, and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The render showed us that the phone may come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Speculation is that the device will be backed by a 5,200mAh battery with support for fast charging. Details are still scarce, but we’re sure POCO will continue to release more teasers that’ll reveal key POCO X3 Pro specifications.
