POCO X4 5G, the upcoming smartphone from Xiaomi sub-brand POCO, has been spotted on Geekbench benchmarking app with model number 2201116PG. This comes soon after the India version of the POCO X4 5G was listed on Geekbench with model number 2201116PI. Coming back to the POCO X4 5G global variant’s listing, Geekbench has revealed key specifications, something that suggests the smartphone might be a rebranded version of the recently launched Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. The POCO X4 5G global variant’s Geekbench listing reveals that the handset packs 6GB of RAM and will be powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor, clocked at 1.8GHz. It will boot Android 11 based MIUI 12 out of the box. The smartphone scored 657 points in the single-core test and 2053 points in the multi-core test, which is less compared to the 688 and 2053 points that the POCO X4 5G India variant notched up on the app.POCO X4 5G global variant specifications (expected)
If the POCO X4 5G is indeed a rebranded Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, it could come with a 6.67-inch FullHD+ AMOLED panel that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will draw power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
In terms of cameras, the handset could house a triple camera setup, featuring a 108MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. It could flaunt a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls on the front.
POCO X4 5G is tipped to debut in India in Q1 2022. We can expect the company to debut the smartphone globally as well soon.
