Update: The POCO X5 will be launching in India on March 14th, as confirmed by the company officially. The teaser image also shows the phone will come with a 120Hz AMOLED display. We can also see the phone in Green, Blue and Black colour options. There are triple cameras placed in a rectangular module.
POCO X5 will be the upcoming mid-range offering from the brand in India. 91mobiles exclusively revealed the POCO X5 will debut in the country as early as next week. However, an exact date is yet to be revealed by the brand. Now, POCO India has officially teased the price of the POCO X5 ahead of the announcement. The handset originally debuted globally last month as a cheaper alternative to the POCO X5 Pro, which is already on sale in the country.
The POCO X5 ships with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and a 48MP primary camera sensor on the back.

POCO X5 price in India is teased to be under Rs 20,000 in India. The poster image shared by the company mentions POCO C50 (under Rs 7,000), POCO C55 (under Rs 10,000), and POCO X5 Pro (under Rs 25,000). The tagline goes “we’re coming for you next, under Rs 20,000.” We should know the exact pricing and availability details of the phone when it launches soon.

The POCO X5 has a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixels resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 1200nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC coupled with Adreno GPU, up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Running the show is Android 12-based MIUI 13 custom skin out of the box.
There is a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an IP53 rating for splash resistance, and an infrared sensor. The phone measures 165.88×76.21×7.98mm and weighs 189 grams. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging.
As for the cameras, the POCO X5 has three sensors on the back, including a 48MP primary main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. There is a 13MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
