POCO X6 series’ India launch was recently confirmed by the brand through teaser posters on social media platforms. The teaser image had the tagline “The Ultimate Predator”. In a new post on X (formerly Twitter), the company has also confirmed the POCO X6 series will debut the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset in India. A dedicated microsite on Flipkart is also live and this confirms the series will be sold via the e-commerce platform right after launch.

- Interestingly, the Redmi K70e is the only other Xiaomi phone to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset.
- This suggests the POCO X6 Pro will be a rebranded Redmi K70e, while the POCO X6 could be a rebadge of the Redmi Note 13 Pro.
- The post on X doesn’t reveal or tease the launch timeline but recent reports suggest the POCO X6 might debut in the country in January.
POCO X6 series specifications (expected)
- Display: The POCO X6 series is expected to sport a 6.67-inch 1.9K OLED display with a 2712 x 1220 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Dolby Vision
- Chipset: The POCO X6 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra SoC. While the regular X6 could get the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC
- OS: Android 14 with the HyperOS custom skin pre-installed.
- Storage: Up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB internal storage.
- Rear cameras: The POCO X6 Pro could feature a 64MP OmniVision OV64B primary sensor with OIS + EIS, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP macro camera.
- The POCO X6 might have a 200MP primary Samsung HP3 sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera and a 2MP macro camera.
- Front camera: There could be a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies
- Battery: The POCO X6 Pro could have a 5,500mAh battery with 90W fast wired charging technology. The POCO X6 might pack a 5100mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
