POCO X6 series to debut MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra in India, company confirms

POCO X6 series’ India launch was recently confirmed by the brand through teaser posters on social media platforms. The teaser image had the tagline “The Ultimate Predator”. In a new post on X (formerly Twitter), the company has also confirmed the POCO X6 series will debut the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset in India. A dedicated microsite on Flipkart is also live and this confirms the series will be sold via the e-commerce platform right after launch.

  • Chipset: The POCO X6 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra SoC. While the regular X6 could get the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC
  • OS: Android 14 with the HyperOS custom skin pre-installed.
  • Storage: Up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB internal storage.
  • Rear cameras: The POCO X6 Pro could feature a 64MP OmniVision OV64B primary sensor with OIS + EIS, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP macro camera.
  • The POCO X6 might have a 200MP primary Samsung HP3 sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera and a 2MP macro camera.
  • Front camera: There could be a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies
  • Battery: The POCO X6 Pro could have a 5,500mAh battery with 90W fast wired charging technology. The POCO X6 might pack a 5100mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
