
Motorola is believed to be working on the next Edge series lineup, possibly the Motorola Edge 60 series. Recently the alleged Edge 60 Pro bagged the BIS and EEC certifications, hinting that the announcement might be on the way. Now, the phone has appeared on the FCC, Dekra and TUV Rheinland platforms. Here are the details.
Alleged Motorola Edge 60 Pro FCC details
- A new Motorola phone with the model numbers XT2503-1 and XT2503-3 has received the FCC certification, as spotted by 91mobiles.
- While there’s no mention of its marketing name, the XT2503-2 (which is in series) bagged the BIS certification and XT2503-4 secured the EEC approval. It is believed to be the Motorola Edge 60 Pro.
- The FCC listing confirms 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, NFC, and Wi-Fi connectivity options.
- This also reveals the charging adapter model number: MC-681N / 682N / 683N / 685N / 686N / 687N / 689N, possibly belonging to different regions and the battery model number RM52.
Dekra and TUV Rheinland details
Dekra- The same RM52 model number of the battery appeared on the Dekra listing and this reveals 5,100mAh rechargeable Lithium ION battery.
- In comparison, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a 4,500mAh battery.
- While the brand name listed is Motorola, the manufacturer mentioned is Zhuhai CosMX Power JinWan Subsidiary.
TUV Rheinland
- The charging adapter MC-681N/682N/683N/685N/686N/687N/689N has appeared on the TUV Rheinland platform.
- The listing confirms 68.2W max fast charging support. The Edge 50 Pro came with 68W fast charging for base model and 125W for the 12GB + 256GB version.
That’s eveything we know about the possible Motorola Edge 60 Pro at the moment. Since it already bagged the BIS certification, India launch is definitely on cards. To recall, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro was announced in the country in April last year at Rs 31,999.
