Microsoft had recently given away 8 months of Xbox Game Pass subscription for free in India due to the Reserve Bank of India’s new mandates for recurring payments. The new PS Plus deal isn’t related to the new RBI mandates, but it’s worth noting that Sony is working on an Xbox Game Pass competitor for PlayStation. For many players, Xbox Game Pass is a major aspect when it comes to picking a new console to buy. Xbox Game Pass gets way more games than PS Plus and it is available on console as well as PC. Sony is developing a new monthly subscription service for PlayStation owners, which will give them access to a wide range of classic and modern games.
