Sony has announced that the PS Plus Collection for PS5 will be discontinued in May. The PS Plus Collection offers a free library of popular first-party and third-party games for PS5 owners who subscribed to PS Plus. The PS Plus Collection has been available since 2020 and it will be discontinued in the coming months. That said, players can still claim the games in PS Plus Collection to keep them forever before the library is removed. Sony has also revealed PS Plus monthly games for February.

Sony said, “We also wanted to provide an update on the PlayStation Plus Collection that has been offered as a benefit to PlayStation Plus members on PS5 since 2020. On May 9 the PlayStation Plus Collection will no longer be offered. If you haven’t redeemed the titles in this collection yet, you can still do so until May 9, which will enable you to access those titles even after this date for as long as you remain a PlayStation Plus member.” PS5 players who have a PS Plus subscription can claim games from the PS Plus collection until May 9th and continue to play them even after the collection is discontinued as long as they are subscribed to PS Plus.
