PS5 specifications

Sony launched PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition back in November 2020. The only difference in these models is the Blu-Ray disc drive. While the standard PS5 comes with a Blu-Ray disc drive, the Digital Edition does not. Both PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition are powered by an octa-core CPU with Zen 2 cores to run at 10.28 TFLOPS alongside an AMD RDNA 2 GPU. The console features 16GB GDDR6 RAM and 825GB of internal storage. PS5 also supports expandable storage via NVMe SSD slot and you can buy compatible PS5 SSDs separately. Since PS5 is backward compatible with PS4, you can play PS4 games on PS5.
